Data we hold
Contact and identifying information you provide via forms; corporate KYC documentation for counterparties and their beneficial owners; sanctions-screening records; deal-file records for seven years after closing.
Purposes
Communicating about specific enquiries and deals; discharging our AML, sanctions and export-control obligations; keeping the deal file our bank, insurer and counsel expect; responding to legal or regulatory requests.
Lawful bases
Performance of contract, legitimate interest in running the business, and compliance with legal obligations. Sensitive processing is limited to what is required to run KYC and sanctions checks.
Sharing
Sanctions and screening providers, our bank, insurers and counsel, and — where required — regulators. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Data may be held in the UAE, UK and EU. Cross-border transfers rely on the standard mechanisms available under UK GDPR and UAE PDPL.
Retention
Deal files are held for seven years after closing. Enquiries that do not result in an engagement are held for twelve months and then deleted.
